Dance Bloopers: My Funniest Moments from 2020 to 2021

When I look back at my dance journey from 2020 to 2021, I see a whirlwind of creativity, laughter, and, let’s be honest, plenty of bloopers. Every performance came with its own set of challenges, from mastering intricate choreography to wrangling props that had a mind of their own. While I’m proud of the progress I made, it’s the behind-the-scenes mishaps that truly bring a smile to my face. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the funniest moments that happened along the way!

Why Bloopers Matter

Looking back, these bloopers remind me that dancing isn’t just about perfect performances. It’s about the journey, the shared laughter, and the memories made along the way. Every misstep taught me something new, whether it was to double-check my props, secure my costumes, or simply embrace the unexpected.

As I continue my dance journey, I’m sure there will be plenty more bloopers to come. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to more laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments on the dance floor!

Here's just a few things that went wrong, ha-ha.

I slid to the side when the instructor pulled on my hand. I was supposed to go up onto my feet. Haha

I forgot to put on my shoes as I was helping everyone with their makeup and making sure the table was setup accordingly. I wasn't thinking about my shoes. Haha

For my Marvel dance practice, I had to try on the wig and glad I did, cause it fell off when the teacher dipped me. Haha

The Sand area we dance had a bit of a slope going down to the lake and the weights just rolled down into the water. Haha

Here you can see how far it went. Plus, the water was cold and looked kind of dirty, but the teacher was a brave soul and went and got it. Haha

Here is where I step on my teachers' foot and my niece starts to laugh and get us all going. Haha

It was a little hard at first getting used to dancing in the tight long mermaid skirt, eventually I got the hang of it. Haha

And here my teacher and I conjoint as one. My fishnet pantyhose got stuck in his button up jacket. It took us a good couple minutes to try to get it out before deciding to just rip it off and making a hole. Plus, Harley Quinn has ripped ones on in the movie, I think, so it would be fine. Haha
